Missing a Tooth? It’s Time to Consider Dental Implants

If you’re missing a permanent tooth, we are happy to inform you that we can finally replace your tooth with a successful, reliable, and permanent dental implant!

Dental implants are great products that can give you the smile you have always dreamed of. Implants can successfully:

• Improve your appearance
• Improve your oral health
• Improve your self-esteem
• Improve your speech
• Improve your comfort
• Improve your smile’s durability
• Give you your dream smile for a lifetime

If you’re interested in any of these beneficial characteristics of dental implants, we encourage you to come into our office today for a dental exam. During this exam, Dr. Dr. Lois Lee will evaluate your oral cavity, take dental x-rays, and perform a variety of tests on your smile. This exam will help your dentist know if dental implants are the right solution for you. If they will indeed benefit your smile, we will begin the implantation process right away. The process will first begin with your dentist placing a titanium post into the bone socket of your missing tooth. This post will act as the tooth’s roots and it will secure the replacement tooth into place. For complete success, the jaw bone will need to heal around the post, making the post stable. This healing process may take some time, but it is needed for the best results possible. Once the bone has healed, your dentist will make an impression of your tooth and will send that impression to the dental lab. The lab technicians will then create your customized replacement tooth in a timely manner and will send the tooth back to the dental office once it’s created. When you’re ready, your dentist will place the tooth onto the post to give you the smile you have always wanted.
